This 52 x 40mm flexible stair edge profile is designed for stairs with rounded treads, offering excellent grip, edge protection, and a professional finish. Manufactured from a durable, shape-retaining PVC blend, it conforms naturally to curved steps and can be used with carpet, tile, panel, or various other flooring types, regardless of thickness. Its grooved upper surface enhances traction to reduce the risk of slipping, and the reinforced front edge helps prevent wear and mechanical damage over time.
In addition to its aesthetic appeal, this profile is easy to clean thanks to its uniquely shaped grooves, which resist dirt accumulation. Its high flexibility ensures a snug fit on uneven or curved stair surfaces, while the material remains safe for humans and animals—free from harmful compounds.
Installation Instructions:

Ensure the stair surface is clean, flat, dry, and free of dust or grease.

If working in cooler conditions, warm the profile beforehand using hot water or a heat gun to increase flexibility.

Measure and cut the profile accurately to match the step width using scissors or a utility knife.

Apply a suitable assembly adhesive to the underside of the profile, following the adhesive manufacturer’s guidelines.

Firmly press the profile onto the step, ensuring full contact between the surface and adhesive.

Allow the adhesive to cure; the stair is ready for use after approximately 3 hours.
